Prayer of Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift of grace. The Bible teaches that we have all sinned, that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, and that those who turn to Him in faith receive forgiveness and new life.
Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 6:23 — “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 10:9 — Confess Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and that God raised You from the dead. I turn away from my sins and invite You into my heart and life. I confess You as my Lord and Savior. Wash me, forgive me, and make me new. Help me follow You, grow in Your Word, and live by Your Spirit. Thank You for saving me and receiving me into Your family. In Jesus’ name, amen.
The words alone do not save; salvation is received through genuine repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. After praying, begin reading the Bible, pray daily, and connect with a Bible-believing church and mature Christian community.
